Find a dialysis center that fits your life
Dialysis happens three times a week or more, so the center matters. For all 7,490 Medicare-certified centers we show CMS's star rating, whether there's a shift starting at 5 pm or later, home dialysis training, and how patient outcomes compare with what CMS expects.

Where this data comes from
Every listing starts from public records — CMS Dialysis Facility Listing by Facility — not from who paid to be listed. A Certified badge means we matched the business to an active public record, dated. Read the methodology →
Common questions
Does Medicare cover dialysis?
Yes. People of any age with end-stage renal disease (permanent kidney failure needing dialysis or a transplant) can generally get Medicare, and it covers dialysis in a certified center or at home. See Medicare.gov for details and when coverage starts.
What does the dialysis star rating mean?
It is CMS's 1–5 star summary of a center's quality measures — such as survival, hospitalizations, transfusions, dialysis adequacy and fistula use — compared with other centers. It does not include patient survey results, and a missing rating usually means too little data.
What does “as expected” mean?
CMS predicts each center's result from its patients' characteristics. “As expected” means the actual result was not reliably different from that prediction; “better” or “worse than expected” means it was, statistically. Most centers are “as expected” on most measures.
Can I do dialysis at home?
Many people can. Peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis are both done at home after training from a certified center. Use the “Peritoneal dialysis” and “Home hemodialysis training” filters to find centers that offer training, and ask your nephrologist whether home dialysis suits you.
How do I switch dialysis centers?
Ask your nephrologist and your current center's social worker; the new center needs your records and an open chair on a shift that works for you. You have the right to information about all treatment options, including ones your center doesn't offer.
Do centers pay to be listed or ranked?
No. Every certified center is listed free and ordered by CMS star rating. Centers can buy a labelled featured spot for a flat monthly fee; it never changes the order and is never priced per referral or patient.
